A House Built on Belonging
ANSSA is a luxury bespoke couture house based in the Netherlands, specialising in timeless bridal couture, traditional couture, and elegant occasion wear. Rooted in creativity, craftsmanship, and meaningful design, every garment is thoughtfully handcrafted with exceptional attention to detail and a deeply personalised client experience. From the first conversation to the final fitting, each piece is created with intention to celebrate identity, femininity, and life’s most treasured moments. At ANSSA, craftsmanship meets purpose.
The Hand Behind the House
Long before ANSSA had a name, creativity was already woven into the life of its founder, Manuella Ansah. Growing up in Ghana, her fascination with making began at home, inspired by her mother’s sewing and nurtured through a natural love for creating. After moving to the Netherlands in 2014, she discovered fashion at ROC Mondriaan and began teaching herself to sew with her first sewing machine, gifted by her sister Barbara. Years of learning, client commissions, resilience, and refinement eventually led to the birth of ANSSA in 2021. Today, ANSSA is more than a couture house; it is an expression of faith, purpose, craftsmanship, and genuine care, with every garment created intentionally and every client welcomed personally.

At ANSSA, a gown is engineered before it is embellished. We begin with proportion, balance, fit, and movement, carefully considering how the garment sits, drapes, and moves on the body. Fabrics are chosen not only for their beauty, but for their behaviour, structure, and finish. Only then does embellishment enter, placed with intention and always in service of the silhouette. The result is couture that feels effortless, considered, and quietly unforgettable.
